I've been postponing this post for quite a long time. OK, lets cut it short! Before my final exam started, my cousins brought me out to shop and eat around KL on Hari Raya Haji. I went to these 3 places on the same day and I feel it's worth to share. (Photos are not in sequence with time)

Steven's Corner is a so-called high class mamak. Their prices are slightly higher than usual mamak and their food are acceptable to me. There are 3 branches in KL - Pandan Indah, Setapak, OUG.

Sweet Hut is highly recommended!!! It serves desserts of all kinds and they are very delicious! They have only one branch in Kuchai Lama but I think they opening another one soon in Puchong. ^^

Sticky is a place where the candies are hand-made. The one I've seen is located in Pavilion. The candies are not too sweet and it tastes refreshing! The design is nice too. It's suitable to be bought as souvenir.

Malaysia Real Estate

When you look at the word “property”, what comes to your mind? Money? Investment? Wealth? Real estate? That’s right! You are getting closer to my main focus of this post today. How many of you have ever thought of investing in real estate as a means to get wealthy? Well, I personally have thought of it. But how many who thinks of it really achieve it successfully?

I don’t have much knowledge in investment and also real property. But from a common point of view, the prices of residential houses are increasing over the years. For example, a double-storey terrace house which was acquired a few years ago for about RM125000 can now be sold for about RM250000. Quite a large increase right? After taking the inflation into consideration, it might not be that much but still I think benefit beats the cost.

I’ve looked into some local real estate websites and most of them look the same to me except for the design and some of the features in them. There is this website called PropWall. It looks tidier compared to others which I’ve seen. The information provided by them is arranged in a proper way which makes browsing easier. However, it does not contain as much information as some other property websites which cover more areas inclusive of updated news and events and relevant articles. And because it is tidy, it does not look interesting which makes it unable to capture viewers’ attention for long. The design is quite simple and plain. There isn’t any highlight in it such as special deals or special features which resulted in lack of selling point.

But there is one link in this website which attracted me – Milan Doshi. I think many of you who are not in property investment field might not know who is him. Neither do I, until I saw his link in the website. He is a renowned speaker on investment property who has been coaching on how to get rich from the property and stock markets. At least, I know another great man now.

I believe investment would really be rewarding provided we know the essence of it from top to bottom. Everyone can invest but not all can make a good return from it. After all, it still depends on your knowledge and skills.

Love Is Scary!

I'm fear of love. At this moment you might rejoice for someone's new relationship and at the next moment you might be sadden by someone's break up.

Recently, I heard too much of love stories from my close friends. Happy and sad ones. A few are in love, starting new relationship. A few just broke up and ended up with tears. Some broke up but got back again.

What is LOVE? I feel like it's being abused. It's being treated like clothes by people. They like it, they wear. They don't like it, they throw away.

Love should be something pure and innocent. Love should be something generous. Love should be something great and powerful.

Love shouldn't be something suffering. Love shouldn't be something sad. Love shouldn't be something selfish.

If you treat it like clothes, that's not love. That's just a childish mindset of yours who have wrong thoughts of the true meaning of love. WAKE UP!

I was trying to relax myself after studying and listened to some of her old songs. Then I realized it has been 10 years since I first started to like her. It means she has grown from a young adult to a middle aged adult and I have grown from a teenager to a young adult. I can't believe time passes so fast. In a blink of an eye, I have grown up and her songs have accompanied me for 10 years. Here are the memories of her theme songs from every album. Each song represent a different stage of my life.

Home Alone

So now I realized I really can't stand loneliness. My coursemates have finished their exams. I'm left with one more paper on this Thursday. My housemates are on holidays and left this house in the evening.

My housemates, Helen and Serene will finish their studies at the end of this month. They are now on study break before their finals. I guess today was the last time I met them. I hate this kind of feeling. It makes me feel like crying. The last time I have had this feeling was one year ago. When I have to say goodbyes to my ex-roommates, See Eng & Mun Chieng.

Sometimes it's just hard to leave although you know you have to. Saying goodbye is just not the word for me. But in life, we are actually living alone. Family and friends won't always be there. They come and then they go. Some might come and stay beside you for a while, and then they leave. Some might just walked passed you, not staying long. Some who are loyal, might stay beside you longer but one day, they will leave too.

Everything is just a matter of time. The family and friends you have around you are BONUS. This bonus is not eternal. So when you get it, appreciate it. When you don't get it, strive to achieve it. I'm not only saying physically their presence in your life. But include the relationship and bonding you have with them.

Well, I guess I just need to stand the moment of loneliness for a while. Then I will be back home soon to meet my family! ^^
