My heart is feeling heavy...

Sad.

When there is no tears to describe this.

When there is no words to explain this.

When there is no pictures to express this.

When there is no melody to rhyme this.

Malaysia - "First In Everything"

I came across this article. It revolves around Malaysia cases, those widely known and how our government responded to them. It is interesting and sarcastic in a funny way.

I believe not many of us (Malaysian citizens) really care about our nation. And because of our care-less-ness, that's why our government is taking our resources (tax contributions) for granted. We only know how to complain, but have we ever encountered them? Question them? You may say that we have the opposition party to do so for us, but how much can they change?

I love Malaysia. I love this country. I love the place. I love the food. I love the culture. But I just don't love how the government is treating its rakyat!

Postcard

Maybe some of you might think that this is just a normal card. In this modernized era, everything can be sent electronically across the countries. It is faster, easier, and cheaper. But sometimes it is not all these that counts. It is the essence of sending the physical postcard itself.

When my best friend went to Japan for an exchange programme, I didn't request him to buy me any souvenir, instead I only asked for one thing - "Send me a postcard from Japan"

Maybe you might feel weird why I didn't request for a souvenir or gift but only a postcard. This is because the postcard itself is a precious gift to me. It is not only about the postcard, but the feeling of happiness upon receiving it, seeing it appear in your mail box.

It actually shows that the person you care, is living safely there. A simple message written on a simple card means a lot. The message is somehow the words which come from a true heart, who remembers you even if he or she is at a far away place.

Of course you can say that we can keep in touch with each other through MSN, FB and so on. But again I would say, it is the essence of sending the postcard physically through traditional mail.

Some things still exist in this world because it has its own value that is worthy for us to preserve it, despite having being replaced much with high technology stuff. One example is what I'm blogging on now, postcard.

Have you ever wonder, why is postcard still existing in this world even though there is email, electronic card and so on that can replace it?

Because it still has its value in it which is worth preserving for. It depends on how you look at it, but for me, definitely it's a precious one. ^^

Slow Down

I came across this article which I think is interesting. Basically, it touches on the issue of this globalized world where almost everyone is participating in the rat race. However, there are people in certain parts of the world who do things slowy but produce a better quality results.

"Many of us live our lives running behind time, but we only reach it when we die of a heart attack or in a car accident rushing to be on time. Others are so anxious to live for the future that they forget to live the present, which is the only time that truly exists."

I have thought of this before, even long, long time ago. Most of the people tend to prepare themselves now for the future. Despite all the hard work and time spent to prepare for the future, they forget to enjoy living in the present. What I mean by enjoying living in the present here does not necessarily mean that you play and have fun 24/7 but you must live your life, every moment worthily. Do everything with your whole heart. Gain satisfaction from your achievement. Be alive! You'll never know what will happen next.

What Month Is This?

Recently, many death news surrounded me. It's just so sad to hear it. The most shocking news I just knew today is a junior of mine from MGSS, passed away in an accident. It was so sudden.

After all the busy days I've gone through, when this kind of news pops up in front of me, it makes stop and think.

It makes me put aside everything and pause in silent for a moment. Everything can happen unexpectedly.

.........................................

P/S: I just couldn't continue writing anymore. So much things to say and yet don't know how to start with.

Duty Roaster

What is the purpose of it when no one is following?

When anything does not serve its purpose in life, it's useless.

Same goes to human. When anyone does not live to its purpose in life, one's life is meaningless!

I know complaining is not good but when I have no one to go to, here it is!

How can you stand living in a house with 11 people when only 1 person is keeping the house clean??!?!

I just don't understand why some people can be soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not hygienic. How can they stand the dirtiness? Faint!!!

I believe family upbringing is very important here. I'm not trying to say their parents didn't brought them up well, but I think this is their family 'culture'. Some people are really messy. Some people don't care to clean their house. Some people are lazy. Some people are just being ignorant.

Maybe this house does not belong to them, that's why they wouldn't even care to keep this house clean and tidy. But come on!!! You are all going to stay here for at least 1 year.

A simple task like sweeping the floor after you've dirtied it, is it that hard??!?!

A simple task like wiping the gas stove after you've done cooking is it that hard?!?!

A simple task like mopping the floor when you only need to do it once a month according to the duty roaster, is it that hard?!?!

A simple task like empty the dustbin after it's full of rubbish, is it that hard?!?!?

If you can't even do any of these tasks, I can't imagine how your future house would be like. How can you even be a good housewife when you can't keep the house clean?!?!?! How can you be the role model to your kids when you can't even be a good example to them?!?!

No wonder this world is full of useless people!

Miracles

This is a side project that Da.Mon.Ster and BOT@MOSound voluntarily did and produced to remind everyone to never give up even if there is only little hope because miracles are always waiting right around the corner.

Inspiration is triggered by tons of less fortunate news and this song is dedicated to Him Yee who is now struggling for her life.

The purpose of this song is to give awareness to everyone to stay strong and give a helping hand to those who are in need when stranded in rainy days.

Even a little help of yours could bring a big change to someone's life and future.

Believe in Miracles!

You Are Important To Me

I'm back home.
I'm supposed to be very happy and indeed, I am.

But when I listen to certain melody, it touches me.
My tears just feel like falling.

And this is not the first time for me to hear the same melody.

Why?

I guess this is just another moment of life where emptiness comes.

Seeing my close friends, one by one starts to walk through the love carpet, I'm happy for them.

But somehow as I see them walk, I start to feel like I'm very far from their back.
They are walking at a steady pace with their loved ones and I'm not moving at all.

I'm afraid that I can't catch up with them and in the end, fear of losing them.

I hate saying goodbyes.

Friends are always so important to me that sometimes I questioned myself,
"Can I ever survive without them?"

NO.

"Have I put too much emphasis on them?"

NO. They are worthy for it. ^^

Understanding

I know no one is perfect in this world including me. Therefore, no one can ever satisfy his or her partner fully in a relationship. But when you are in a relationship, I think you must at least be committed to it and try to understand your partner when your relationship is still fresh.

Understanding takes time but it's not impossible. If you understand someone, without even uttering a word, you'd know what's in her or his mind. It'd be sad to hear or see my friend who gets involved in such situation. I wanted to help so much but I don't know how.

My advice to everyone is, if you are not ready to commit yourself to a relationship, don't start one. And if you start one, be committed! What's the point of loving your partner when you don't even care to know her more?

Today...

... probably isn't a very good day for me. Certain things just don't seem to go well which makes my day blue...

Hope things will be better.

Cute & Educational For Kids!

Oreo Ice-Cream Cheese Cake

For the first time in my life, I learnt to make cake!!! Haha... It's not that hard after all. My coming wish list is to learn making sushi and ice-cream! ^^

I went shopping alone just now. Sometimes it wasn't that bad at all to shop all by yourself. You have the utmost freedom to do whatever you like, go wherever you want and shop with the flow of your own timing!

But of course can't do this so often. Spent like nobody's business. =.=''

Mooncake Festival

Finally I have time to update my blog again! Recently feel quite lazy to blog. Anyway, last week highlight was Mooncake Festival celebration at Thean Hou Temple. This temple is quite famous among the chinese couples because it provides service for marriage registration.

Coursemates

The Moon!

There was lantern making competition. Their artworks were really nice!

We had fun there and did some silly things too. We produced a self-made music video just for our friend's birthday which so coincidentally fell on the same day! Anyway, I'm not posting the video here as I really looked silly in it. Haha... That's all for now. Ja-ne!
