'Si Pemalas' Has Been Tagged!

Instructions: Remove ONE question from below and add in your personal question, make it a total of 20 questions. Then tag 5 people in your list. Notify them in their chatbox that he/she has been tagged.

1. Are you creative?
Yeah, I think so. It depends. (Aiyah... If you want to know, just ask my friends lo... They know better... ^^)

2. Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Home la... This is the most comfortable place on earth which I can really rest and sleep well.

3. If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be?
"All my dreams come true" (Only smart people like me will think of this dream...haha...jk, jk) =p

4. Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain?
Huh?? What is there to believe? It really happened before la...(I even captured a photo of it and displayed in my blog)

5. What are you afraid of losing the most now?
Nothing. No pain, no gain = No lost, no gain.

6. If you win $1 million, what would you do?
Firstly, I will donate some of it to the charity. Then, give my family to spend. Lastly, the leftover will be used for me to invest in business + savings.

7. If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
Depends. (I don't need to confess wan la... *I just wait for others to do so*...haha)

8. List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you.
Efficient. Helpful. Cheerful. =)

9. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?
Nothing. (In the first place, before he/she can be my other half, he/she must have already fulfilled the necessary requirements. So, if he/she is already my other half, just accept him/her the way he/she is. Why would I need to require anymore? *I don't just simply choose anyone blindly*)

10. What annoys you the most?
People who don't realize where they stand and always like to boast about themselves. I mean, come on la... We as outsiders have eyes to observe and analyse ourselves. If you are really good, we can definitely see it. There's no need for you to say it out loud!

11. Which do you prefer from your other half? Hug or kiss?
I shall not answer this question. It's private and confidential. Muahahaha...

12. If you have faults, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
Point out. It's better that I know my mistakes now and change it NOW rather than when I get older where it is harder to change. At first, of course I would feel bad about it and maybe get angry, but after a thoughtful consideration, I will know that it is for my own good. I really appreciate and thankful to those who pointed me out before. If it wasn't you, I am not what I am today. (Especially thx to my teacher, Mr Hong - Who teased me almost everyday)^^

13. What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
Happiness. If not, life isn't worth living.

14. Are you a shopaholic or not?
Hmm... How do you define shopaholic? I go shopping at least once a week. Is this counted as shopaholic? Hehe...

15. What kind of electronic device/gadget you own that you like most?
Mobile phone. I can easily keep in touch with people and capture picture as well. (2 in 1) =p

16. If you have a chance, which part of your character you would like to change?
Bad-tempered.

17. What makes you feel disappointed?
When things aren't going the way I thought or planned. Then everything will be messed up and problems arise.

18. If given a chance, do you want to see your future?
Nope. I believe I hold my own future in my hands. Whatever happens in the future is the consequences of my decisions at the present moment. (What for you want to see? When you know that your future lies in your hands...) (",)

19. What do your friends label you as?
Don't know. Like you asked, "my friends". How would I know what my friends think of me as? ^-^

20. What type of person do you think you are?
Normal. *Of course la... An insane person won't be able to answer all these questions* Hohoho...

Lucky?! Am I?

While I was walking around in Mahkota Parade with my parents just now in the afternoon, we passed by the stage and at the front of it, there was a fair going on carried out by ING, an insurance company. There were games for people to play and win prizes as well. And they were all for free.

When we passed by for the 1st time, they kept asking me to take part but I rejected and went on my way(I was hungry and hunting for food at that time...hehe).

After we've taken our lunch, we passed by for the 2nd time and this time again, they asked me to join. Since it was just playing some games, so I agreed. I sat down in front of a computer and started playing maze game. I was required to answer the questions given in order to open all the doors to reach the ending point. I only have 3 chances to answer wrongly and the winner will be based on the fastest person who reaches the ending point.

Upon finishing, I found out that my time was 52 seconds while the one sitted next to me only took 28 seconds -_-"'(Looks like I'm not good with games... paiseh, paiseh..).

Then, I was asked to play another game which was car racing using remote control. The rule was to finish 2 laps in the fastest time. At first I really don't feel like playing(I'm not good at this kind of game). And to make it worse, I saw 2 guys playing before me, can't even control properly. So I thought to myself it must be very hard... hmm...I wanted to leave but at that time the emcee was already asking me to get ready(I should've left earlier duh..haiz..).

So I played. 2 players at a time. It was an embarassment for me like I thought, I couldn't control the car well and it encountered many "accidents". There were many people watching too. Tsk. Paisehnyer...@@

After finishing, they asked me fill in my particulars and said if I win, they will contact me. In my mind I thought, "Impossible la..." . Then I continued my shopping and after about half and hour, I received a phone call. To my surprise, it was a call from them!!! They told me that I've won a prize! And asked me to go and claim my prize there. I was like, "Huh?! Really?".

So I went there again to take my prize. I was given a sports racing car with remote. In fact, I think all their prizes were made up of these...haha. I asked the person in charge, "How come I can win so easily?". Guess what she replied, "There were very few participants only."(with a smile). We shook hand and took a photo. I think that was for their publicity.

When I left, I saw the same person whom I raced car with just now and he won himself a prize too, same as mine. I think they just wanted to give out their prizes so that they can advertise for their company and didn't really mind the timing of our games. If not, how can I win?? Lucky? Haha...If I wasn't pull by them to play the games, I would return home empty-handed.

My prize...yeah!!!

P.S.: Although it was not something valuable, this was the 1st time I won a prize just by simply playing some games. I'm happy with it. ^^

Unexpected Call

Yesterday I received an unexpected phone call from an officer of PBSM for Malacca branch. His job mostly is to keep in touch with the secondary school students for any PBSM events. Of course, upon receiving his call, I knew it wouldn't be something good because he always likes to ask students to join many activities organized by PBSM of Malacca branch. When he talked to me... Bingo! I was right about it. He asked me to go for a meeting at 5pm and usually he always likes to ask at the last minute. When he informed me about this, it was already 4pm. I wanted to reject him by saying I didn't have any transport but it was useless because he said, "Never mind, I can fetch you!"... -_-"' Well then, I had nothing to say but to accept because no matter what, he is still an officer, so I should respect him. I asked him what should I do in the meeting and guess what he told me, "You just go there to warm up the chair." I was like, "Huh??"(feeling sweat)"'. Since so, I just followed him there and did what I supposed to do. The meeting, of course was boring because it involved officers, teachers and a few students. However, students went there were just to warm up the chairs(although there were not enough chairs to sit). Haiz... luckily, there were some funny quotes throughout the meeting made by those people discussing about a camp they planned to carry out next week.

There were a few late comers but there was one who attracted my attention the most. He is a teacher, a malay guy. He came into the room wearing a sunglasses. Can you imagine a person wearing a sunglasses during a formal meeting?! Oh, my goodness... I thought to myself, "The sun is shining so brightly"...haha!

"Man in Black" =p...wakaka

The discussion went on and as they were discussing about the food they would prepare for the students during the camp, a funny expression came out. The leader for this food preparation is En Sawi. As they were choosing the suitable food, then the director said, "En Sawi tak pernah masak sawi." Everyone laughed loudly... hahaha!

After that, they discussed about the security of the students. One of them said, "Takut budak waktu malam mengingau dan jalan keluar seorang diri." Then another one continued, "Ya, nanti jalan terus balik ke rumah. Haha..."

Next, they talked about the timing of the whole programme. They touched on dinner. For this coming camp, they set the dinner time at 8.45pm which I think is quite late. The director also felt so. Thus, he suggested that for the tea break time, "...makanan bagi heavy sikit." Then En Sawi replied in a humorous way, "Heavy? Apa itu? Berat ke?" @@

They also talked about the activities for the students. They suggested that to let the students go for jungle trekking at night as this activity has been carried out before during the children camp and was named "Sesi Burung Hantu". Then again En Sawi said, "Budak kecil pun ada sesi burung hantu, ini budak sekolah menengah mestilah adakan satu aktiviti seperti itu, mungkin boleh dinamakan Sesi Beruang ke?(lol)... kasi budak masuk tasik je..." Kakaka...

For every camp, they will plan a night for some sort like a campfire. Then the director said, "...masa perkhemahan budak sekolah rendah, mereka ada Malam Seribu Bintang." Then again En Sawi said, "Wah, Malam Seribu Bintang... boleh cungkil bakat. Kalau ada karaoke lagi sedap...!"

It looked like En Sawi was trying to be the outstanding entertainer during the meeting by saying lots of funny expression although some jokes were cold. -_-"' Anyway, because of him, the meeting wasn't so dull lo... but I was really there just to warm up the chair. How sweat...

Creative Programme Books

Since I was young, I always like to keep a collection of creatively designed programme books of many events which I've attended. I still remember the first event which I have attended when I just got into the secondary school. It was a gathering organised by my school PBSM. They invited PBSM of other schools to join and have fun together. It was something like social activity which let students from various schools to exchange knowledge and interact with each other. At that time, I was only in Form 1. So, I was just an amateur who did not know much. All I knew was just to attend the gathering since I was a member of PBSM. However, it was fun to join in because they carried out many fun games. The theme for the gathering was "Ocean Deep". Hence, this is how their programme book looks like:

Later on, when I was in Form 4, my school PBSM combined with GBS PBSM to organise a combine meet. This time I involved myself in it because I was one of the committee members. It was really tiring to organize such programme but at the end of the day, I gained satisfactory because I could learn many things. At that time, I was put to in-charge of the nametags, meaning I was required to create and design nametags for the committee members and also those students who were going to take part in the combine meet. Luckily, I had a group of capable teammates who have helped me out with this. Overall, the combine meet was a success although it was not that perfect and smooth. I like the programme book designed by my friends. Our theme was "The Mystery of The Ocean". This is how the book looks like:

After I have left my secondary school, I went to high school. I remained loyal and joined PBSM in high school. In year 2007, we organized a campfire. I did not really involve much in it because I wasn't being supportive to my members. They planned mostly everything last minute and I was doubting whether this campfire could really be carried out smoothly. I am a fussy person so I do not like to organise event by planning everything last minute. However, I regret for not taking part because my team members have proven to me that they could do it last minute and the campfire turned out to be a success. Their starting was great and even until the end, all the participants had fun and wouldn't want to leave. I only helped out very little just a few days before the campfire for the decoration. Despite this, my team members didn't blame me or hate me for not joinning them fully to make this campfire a success. Thus, I really regret and felt guilty and sorry to them because I have abandoned them when they needed me the most. If I could turn back the time, I wish I could take part fully and sacrifice for it. They were such wonderful friends for being so forgiving. Since then, I always remind myself not to hurt any of my friends' feeling and to always cherish them as a treasure in my heart. I can't really remember what was the theme for our campfire but I know it was something connected to scary stuff. Here are 2 pictures of the programme book:

If you do read my post on "A Charity Show", I think you would know an event called "Xing Guang". I went for this year and last year too. However, this year was really much worse compared to last year. Last year, one of the emcees was quite good. Overall, there was not much technical problem. Their programme book was unique and nice. These are how the book looks like:

Actually, there were still many events and activities which I've taken part in or attended before but because I did not take any pictures of them, I don't want to mention much about them. So, that is all for now. Hope you enjoy viewing it!^^

A Charity Show

5 April 2008, Saturday - I went to a charity night show, "Xing Guang" at Wisma Seck Kia Eenh. It was organized by members of Buddhist society of GBS school. This year was the 4th annual charity show. The stage backdrop decoration was specially designed to make the items glow in the dark. When it was shone with different lighting, it gave out different effects. Here are two pictures of it. The first one with dim light on and the second one without light.

Last year, I attended this event too. If compared to last year, this year was really terrible and full of surprise. There were some funny "incidents" happened too! Haha! Furthermore, their programmes for that day did not even follow whatever that were written in the programme books. It was totally messed up although their programme books' designs looked nice. Here are a few pictures of their programme books. The first one is its cover card. When you flip open it, you will find that the programme book is placed in a small pocket of the card.

Ok, now lets start with the opening. The VIPs were asked to open the ceremony. There was a crystal ball on the table. I think their opening ceremony should be the VIPs put their hands on the crystal ball. However, things didn't go smoothly as it was planned to. The crystal ball fell off to the floor and broke while the students pulled open the curtain. The VIPs didn't manage to do anything with it, luckily, the emcee was prompt enough to say "Luo Di Kai Hua", a chinese proverb meaning something good when something fell off to the ground and broke. Thus, not many people noticed this accident happened and thought it was the way they opened the ceremony, I guess. Then, their 1st programme supposed to be giving souvenirs to the VIPs according to their programme book. Unfortunately, they didn't do so. They started with break dance. When those dancers got ready to dance on the stage and started to dance when the music was on, suddenly, the emcee asked them to stop! They said due to technical problem they need to stop dancing. At that moment, I thought "Huh?! That was terrible!". They didn't do enough preparation before they carried out this event. How can they just simply stop an on-going performance when everyone was watching! Then, those dancers have to stop. The emcee quickly announced that they would start by giving souvenirs to the VIPs.-_-"' While they were doing so, one of the committee members went up to sweep the floor where the pieces of broken glasses fell off just now. What an eyesore! They suppose to sweep it with the curtain closed but they just swept it like that while the process of giving out souvenirs were going on. Can you imagine that?! After that, they continued with the break dance and then chinese traditional dance. While the 2nd dance was going on, to everyone's surprise, there was a fight going on at the back of the hall where some boys beating each other with one lifting up a chair planning to throw at them. No one was there to stop them. Then the teachers hurriedly headed to the back to calm down the situation. Well, of course none can be blamed for this incident but what is the use of the security unit that was set up among the committee members? Aren't they suppose to do something when they saw this happened? They didn't! They just stood there dumbfounded. What a disgrace for the members of this unit. Anyway, lets move on to the next incident. After several performances, there came the lucky draw. This was the worst and funniest lucky draw I've seen before. A guy who looked like "Ah beng" wearing a sunglasses went up to the stage. He kept on talking non-stop about how handsome he was and that the lucky draw gifts were photos of him. He and another girl were talking crap and nonsense stuff thinking that they were actually entertaining us using they humourous jokes and actions!! How sweat we were! It was a bit funny though but they took the time too long before they really announced the lucky draw winners. It was really terrible! They wanted to be humourous, in the end their speeches turned out to be cool jokes. And all the audience were annoyed by them. Despite all the bad stuff I've mentioned, there were 2 good performances too. One of them is "Che Ling". You can view it in my videos below.

Another one was performance by their specially invited guest, Gary Yeh Chun Chen. If anyone of you who don't know who he is, I can only brielfy explain that he is the 8TV VJ for "Ba Ba Liu Shi Shi". Although he is not very famous, he is likable by many. He composed his own songs and sang a few of them last Saturday while performing. His performance was the last one and the whole charity show turned out to be his concert when he came out. Those crazy fans of his kept screaming and taking his photos as though everyone has forgotten that this was a charity night show. Haha! Here is a photo and a video of him.

Finally, I just want to conclude that this is the 1st time I attended such event with the most technical problems and "incidents". Actually there were still many mistakes that I didn't mention because if I really want to, my post will be very, very long. Take this as a reminder to those of you who want to organize events. Make a good preparation and rehearsel before you do anything. Do not make it last minute. Things will turn out very badly like this event I just attented. We can see that the committee members and the performers were not fully prepared. It's a disaster. Above all, I hope you will not mind for some harsh words that I've used and my apology if I have provoked you in any way(especially the organizing members of this event) ^_^
