It's Over

SUKMA has officially ended. Yesterday night was the final round for basketball match between Melaka and Johor. Sadly, Melaka didn't manage to hold the champion title and this makes them the silver winner. It was quite disappointing as many people were there to support Melaka team. But is was no doubt that Johor team played extremely well!

The players of Melaka team didn't perform as well as before. I think they were tension. Actually it wasn't only physical battle but mental as well. Johor team is famous for their strength and skills and thus, fear might be hunting their minds before they played. The Melaka team players seem not calm at all.

One of my friends, Tan Shuyi played for Melaka team. When the result was becoming obvious, we can see sadness written on his face. I was sad too, for him. Nevertheless, it was a game. Wining or losing is no longer important when we've all learnt something from it.

Jade Bracelet

I bought a jade bracelet while I was shopping to buy a friend's birthday present. I like it so much! Actually this was the 2nd time I've seen it at the same stall. When the 1st time I saw it, I already fell in love with it just like love at first sight. But it was quite expensive and my bargaining skill didn't work. So I didn't buy it.

This time when I passed by the stall for the second time, my heart is still thinking of it. The bracelet was like asking me to buy it. "Buy me, buy me!" My aunt knew I like it very much, so she went to bargain with the seller without me being near there. Finally, she managed to reduce the price reasonably and bought it. =)

Maybe for others, this is nothing but a simple bracelet. But for me, it's different. I believe in fate. If it's yours, it will be yours. If it's not, no matter how hard you hold on to it, it will leave you. Somehow I feel that it is fated for me to buy this bracelet. Usually when I buy things such as clothes, shoes and accessories, I always look for the one I love at first sight. Sometimes even without trying, I'd buy. Usually this love will remain longer in my heart. And I never regret buying anything which I love at 1st sight.

Part Time Actor

I just received a call from the agent of MediaCorp Studios. It was so surprising and I was so HAPPY when I received the call! ^^ They are having a video shooting tomorrow in PJ area and they need some "ke le fe" (minor actor). They found me! But too bad. I'm in Malacca now and can't make it for the shooting. But I guess they can find any substitute easily.

The story goes like this... I joined this group in FB. For those who love acting and shooting and this group is handled by an agent named Kenzo. He is the one in charge to find any part time actor/actress. Every member of the group has the chance to get this job depending on the location we are in. I kinda registered myself with 2 locations: Melaka and PJ since I'll be around in PJ during my studies. That's why they found me thinking that I'm in PJ.

The pay is not bad lo... for a part time actor. And this is a new experience! How I wish I'm in PJ now. Hope I will have more chances in the future and get to be part of their team. =)

SUKMA: Basketball

I went to watch SUKMA basketball match.

Girls: Melaka vs Selangor
Boys: Melaka vs Penang

It was nice to watch! Both Melaka teams won! ^^ During the boys' match, the whole atmosphere became hot! The crowd was very FIERCE. It was more like audience competing rather than the players. Haha.

I saw many new faces and a few old faces. What do I mean by old faces? It means the state's players I knew 6 years ago. I guess only 1 or 2 are still representing Melaka. The rest are new, young faces.

Actually I didn't plan to stay to watch the boys team. To my surprise, I saw my friend played for Melaka but his hometown is not Melaka. Weird huh? Because of him, I stayed on to watch till the end. I'm glad that I remained. The competition was exciting!

Looking back at this, it reminds me of 6 years ago. When I played for my school. Although I wasn't a good player, but I did my best. I love those feelings. The feeling of satisfaction I get when I stand in the court to perform. The thrill and excited feeling when I managed to score.

This is the glory I've lost since I entered F6. And I lost myself even more when I entered the university. For the past 2 years in UM, I've been doing things which I now realized isn't my dreams at all. Engaged in things that didn't bring me any satisfaction. Although I have some good memories with friends when organizing projects, those were only memories.

I want to find back the glory I have had before. Even to the extend that I need to sacrifice my time for it. I want to engage in things that interest me, satisfy me. I want to realize my DREAMS!

Jelly

I know I've been quite unproductive during my holidays besides hanging out everyday and enjoy my active social lifestyle. Thus, I've finally made something during my free time. JELLY!! It was chocolate jelly. But the taste is soso only. First time ma... My coming experiment would be making pudding! ^^

Broga Hill & Bukit Tinggi

I'm finally back! I've been busy for the last whole week visiting some nice places, watching movie, attending a camp and friend's birthday party, hanging out with buddies and reconnecting with them.

Today's post will be the trip I went from 4 June 2010 to 6 June 2010. As you can see from the title post, those are the 2 main places I've visited. The pictures below are not arranged accordingly to time. So I will briefly describe my trip.

Friday:
Reached KL at 10pm. Settled down in my cousin's house.

Saturday:
Went for McD at 12.30am. We planned not to sleep as we were going hiking at 4am. Stayed in McD till 4am. Took McD breakfast.

Left for Broga Hill at 5.30am. Reached Broga at 6am and started hiking. Reached the 2nd last highest peak at 7am. Too tiring and jam with many people so didn't continue to the highest peak. (But will go again ^^) Went downhill at 8am. Going down was faster then going up.

Headed back to cousin's house for rest. Slept for 2 hours. Depart for Kajang Satay at 1pm. Then went to Bukit Tinggi at 3pm. Reached there at 4pm. Visited Japanese Tea Garden, Botanical Garden, Colmar Tropicale, and Rabbit Farm.

Headed back to KL at night. Went to eat Farmland Porridge Steamboat. Planned to watched midnight movie so headed to Pavillion but it was full. Loitered around there a while and headed back to cousin's house.

Sunday:
Reached at 12am. Pillow talk with friends while enjoying red wine. Slept around 2am. Woke up at 9am. Packed up and headed to Sunway Pyramid at 11am. It was my best friend's birthday. Celebrated for her with a surprise. Took our lunch in Fullhouse. Then went to Snowflakes Taiwanese Dessert. Bought a yam cake from RT Pastry. Headed back home at 4pm. Reached home at 5.30pm.

For more pictures, you can see from my FB. I'm lazy to upload here. Hehe... Well, after back home, my adventures didn't just stop there. Went yam cha almost every night and watched movie. Attended Yao Lan Shou discussion camp for half day in KL. Then came back for a friend's birthday party. Spent 3 hours++ on Saturday midnight with a friend at the seaside sharing our stories. It was great that we managed to get to know each other better! ^^

Coming adventures: Genting and Kampar. Hope could go to Ipoh, Teluk Intan, and Taiping. ^^

The Good Old Days

I went back to MGS (my secondary school) today with Allie. So nostalgic.

Walking back the path I used to walk...
Going back to the class I used to enter...
Passing back the sceneries I used to view...

I love my school.

I love my school life.

Always live up to the motto of my school:
Live Worthily

Sunset

While I was driving, I saw a beautiful sunset along the way down the bridge of Kota Laksamana. It was very round and very reddish orange. I didn't manage to snap the photo of it so I just replaced with one I found from the internet which has 90% similarity.

It was really beautiful and I hope to go to the beach side to view it again.

P/S: Who wants to go with me? ^^

1 Day Trip To Muar

Let's see where shall I start from... OK! From the start when we embarked on our journey. We reached around 1pm. Then we went to visit my friend's grandma first. After that, we went to a busy street which is famous for food but I forgotten the name of the place. Paiseh. And I even forgotten to snap photos of them because I was so engrossed with the food!

So below are just some photos which I remembered to snap while enjoying my trip. Haha...

This place is famous for "Rojak"

Oops! Forgot to take its photo when it arrived. =p

After our stomach has been filled to the max, we went to the only place in Muar that is suitable for recreation.

Nice building. Nice place for flying kites too!

Nice activity. Can consider it as part of sports.

Muar sightseeing

The biggest "Durian"

Even taller than us!

People go there just to feed the monkey.
"Come to UM and get them if you like. We have plenty. Haha."

Err... I also don't know what is this. @@

Melaka River Cruise

Muar River Cruise

I prefer Muar River Cruise because the shape of the boat is really more like a boat and it gives the feeling of cruising on the sea. But Malacca boat is like a ferry which doesn't give much feeling lo... But the view along Malacca river is beautiful at night! ^^
