It’s November

It has been a long time since I last updated my blog. Work life definitely not as free as study life. The amount of free time I have is getting lesser. I guess that’s one of the reason for not updating my blog for so long. Well, of course I do have some time for personal life as well which is fully utilised for family and friends. Transition period is always the hardest to adjust the time. But one thing for sure, life is getting better with new working environment and new friends found. =)

To my dearest otto: I know for the past 5 months things have been tough for you. I know the situation has been harsh on you. I know it was difficult for you to endure. Hopefully, you can get over with it soon. After every stormy rain, there will always be a bright sun. May you start a brand new you with passion in your life’s journey!

Applied for BAT’s management trainee programme as requested by friend and failed in the test. Disappointed because it showed that I wasn’t capable enough. But also very glad that I didn’t make it because I just don’t feel comfortable to work for a company that produces products that are harmful to the health of human beings.

Then --- Now

Was haunted all night by the fact that I didn’t succeed to proceed to the next stage for a MNC’s leaders programme. Can’t figure out why. Possible reasons:

1. Not 1st class honours.

2. Applied for non-related departments with my field of study.

3. Answers to questions not impressive enough.

The only company which I’ve been interested in since last year. It was a big shocking news to me. Partly because I’ve never failed to secure any interview before.

Went back to the restaurant opposite my secondary school. Reminded me of many things. My favourite drinks which I used to order last time – carrot milk. It is also the drinks that brought back memories I used to have back then in F4 & F5.

How I used to lepak with my basketball mates after every game. How I used to like a girl so much and bought her carrot milk because she loves it too. How I used to spent my time in doing activities more than studies. Life was so simple back then. Thinking of this, it makes me feel better because life can always be simple too as long as we want it to be.

My 1st Japanese Speech

みなさん こんにちは。

はじめまして。わたしは ステフです。けいえいがくぶのがくせいです。ことし よねんせいです。けいえいがくぶは あそこです。わたしのがくぶは しょくどうが あります。しょくどうのたべものは あまり おいしくないですが、だいたい やすいです。

わたしは にじゅうよんさいです。たんじょうびは さんがつ ついたちです。ことしのたんじょうびに かれに Fossil のとけいを もらいました。きょねんのクリスマスに かれに Polo のネクタイを あげました。

わたしは マラッカから きました。マラッカは ちいさいまちですが、すてきなところです。マラッカは おいしいたべものが たくさん あります。そして あまり たかくないです。わたしは Satay Celup と ニョニャりょうりが すきです。Satay Celup は すこし からいです。ははは ニョニャりょうりが  じょうずです。

わたしは むらさきのくるまが あります。くるまは あまり おおきくないですが、とてもべんりです。じゅぎょうは げつようびから もくようびまでです。まいしゅうのかようび ごご ５じから ７じまで テニスを します。それから うちへ かえります。まいばん ９じに しゅくだいを します。それから ねます。まいしゅうのきんようび あねと じどうしゃで いなかへ かえります。

やすみは しがつ ついたちから なのかまでです。わたしはかぞくと ひこうきで タイワンへ いきました。タイワンは すこし さむいです。そのかばんを かいました。それは よんじゅうリンギットです。わたしも おみやげを かいました。ともだちに おみやげを あげました。

わたしは マレごとえいごが よく わかります。そして にほんごが すこし わかります。いつも にほんごのあにめを みます。ときどき まんがのほんを よみます。あにめとまんがは とても おもしろいですから、にほんごが すきです。

にほんは きれいなくにです。たから、にほんが とても すきです。どぞう よろしく おねがいします。

I’m so happy that I finished learning Japanese language level 1. It’s so nice to learn a foreign language especially the one you like the most. Japanese and Chinese language will be my on-going lessons. ^^

These are the books that I’ve wanted to buy long ago even before the announcement of the distribution of government book vouchers. But they were expensive to me and so I didn’t buy them. Fortunately, my law of attraction works well and my dream is being realized now ^^

Confidence

When I was young, I have a low self-esteem over my own look. I seriously thought I was ugly. But as I grow up, I slowly build my confidence through achieving the goals that I’ve set for myself. I started to change the way I dress. I started to like myself more and appreciate what I have and how I look. Sometimes I do care on how others think of me and some of the confidence was build upon compliments by others. Confidence is the most important element that can either build or destroy someone. Now, I personally feel that someone can be so charming just by being confident with themselves. Ever since I came back to my home town and enjoy my life here, I really feel that I look good. I guess atmosphere is also important in influencing people’s mood. One of the things that has made me so much happier is that my close friend told me, “我发现到妳变美了。。。”I was really very happy to hear this not because of the sentence itself, but the sincerity that comes with it. My face is still the same, I didn’t do any cosmetic surgery and the question is why he thinks that I have become prettier? The answer to this is confidence. Thanks to him, he actually boosted up my confidence even more. Lol…

Beautiful Malaysian Cars!

Or perhaps should I rephrase my title to be “Beautiful Cars in Malaysia”? Haha. Anyway, I’m not here to brag about products of Malaysia such as Proton or Perodua because I don’t think these two brands can even stand a chance to compete with foreign car makers.

 

Well, for the past few months I’ve been surveying on certain cars of different models and brands as I have the intention to purchase it. However, with finance constrain, only those cars with prices ranging from RM30,000 to RM60,000 would appear in my list of samples. (Gosh! I think I talk more and more like and auditor now!) I guess this industrial training does give me some impacts on my mind with the words I use. Lol…

 

I personally prefer a smaller size of car for a start because it is economically cheaper with less fuel consumption. I have quite a strange preference as I like to use manual gear compared to automatic. I think most users would prefer auto gear for convenience while driving but I feel that it’s too bored driving an auto car. At least I can move my hands and legs more often when I drive a manual gear.

 

A few models popped up in my mind when I started the searching process – Perodua MyVi, Hyundai Getz, Suzuki Swift and Kia Picanto. I didn’t know where to search for best purchase deals so I just checked out the official websites of each brand to find out the specifications and prices.

 

At the same time, my friend wanted to find a Kelisa. I was really clueless on where to find a seller for her. But just recently, I found this website which I think is quite useful for car transaction. You can find many types of cars for sale in it, be it new or used car. Although the website is very simple with minimal options and functions, it’s easy to surf.

 

Someone who likes to “lepak” like me, seriously need a car. Without it, it’d be like handicapped. Shout freedom for my next semester!! ^^

Gifts From Taiwan

My cousin just came back from Taiwan 2 weeks ago and she bought some souvenirs for me. Though they are not anything special, but they are the things that I like. =)

The above is a wrist band made from animal skin. It’s quite costly according to her. I’m not really fond of anything which is made of animal skin but it’s her 心意. So I happily accepted it. It’s carved with my name on it. Special made I guess.

 

Law of attraction really works well for me! I was just thinking to buy a sunglasses and there it is. It’s in dark green, my favourite colour. I think almost everyone who is close to me knew that I’m in love with green. Haha…

I’m lovin’ it!

By the way, I’ve learnt how to make sushi! It was fun! ^^

3 In 1

This will be a “rojak” post because there are 3 different stories to be shared which happened to me in a day.

First, catching up with best friend by having even a short conversation with him is satisfying. Have you ever come across a situation where you feel that you have strong feelings for your best friend? Perhaps this experience might not happen on you but on the people around you. If you have, how would you react to this situation? Personally, I think relationship will be at its best when best friends remain as best friends forever. This is the optimum level of relationship. That’s why falling in love with best friends is a forbidden act for me. Is not that I’d purposely force myself not to love him/her, but I would avoid any situation that would induce this to happen. I feel that it’s easier to share openly with best friends and it’s happier spending time with them.

I started to learn swimming yesterday. It was really difficult. The fear of drowning and putting my head into the water is an obstacle. However, I managed to float. I think I need to overcome my fear first before I can really learn to swim. Anyway, it was a good experience and I was happy getting to soak myself in the swimming pool. Thanks to my patient friends who were willing to teach me. ^^

Last, I just came back from dance rehearsal. The performance is tomorrow night. Everytime when I get to perform, I’d be very excited. Even how hard the training was, I’m really happy. I’m wondering if I took the road not taken, what my life would be now? Or if I’m going to take the road not taken, what will my life be? Sometimes I’m really caught up with myself, my desire. I want to perform my very best in everything I do. But this requires time to develop and practice it. Sometimes I have to forgo something because of another thing. One thing that saddens me is that I’ve neglected song composing when I’m getting busy with academics and activities. How I wish I would have another song of my composition to be performed for everyone to listen.

My Passion Is Back!

Yup! That’s right! If you’ve followed me, you would know that I was not in a good condition during December because back then I lost my passion in almost everything. Now it has come back to me. =)

I’m happy that I started liking the things I do now even more than before. I appreciate every moment I have whenever I’m involved in it.

Special Gift

Yesterday, I received a very special present from my best friend, Hwei. It’s actually a Christmas present. ^^ She bought something which she likes so much that she found joy in looking through its pages! I think by now you can guess what it is.

Bingo! It’s a lovely notebook. I love it! It’s so beautiful that every pages seem to have stories portrayed through its pictures.

I don’t think I could write any words in it because it’s just too beautiful to be filled up with my funny handwriting. Haha…

I gave her something that I like very much too and I knew she would love it! =)

P/S: We had our dinner together at my favourite mamak stall in KL – Nasi Lemak Ayam at Seapark. I miss it so much… Thanks, Hwei!

Insomnia

Gosh! I can’t sleep. Worried? Excited? Anxious? Happy? Sad? I don’t know. Anyway, I’m not going to write anything about insomnia.

My Desired Colour

I saw this girl from one MV in YouTube. She's a member of 2NE1, a female group singers from Korea. I was attracted by her hair colour! It's so nice. It matches well with her fair skin and beautiful face features. I'm so deeply in love with her... HAIR! One day, I would try this colour too. Before that, I must get fairer first. Haha...

Today...

... probably isn't a very good day for me. Certain things just don't seem to go well which makes my day blue...
