Slow Down

I came across this article which I think is interesting. Basically, it touches on the issue of this globalized world where almost everyone is participating in the rat race. However, there are people in certain parts of the world who do things slowy but produce a better quality results.

"Many of us live our lives running behind time, but we only reach it when we die of a heart attack or in a car accident rushing to be on time. Others are so anxious to live for the future that they forget to live the present, which is the only time that truly exists."

I have thought of this before, even long, long time ago. Most of the people tend to prepare themselves now for the future. Despite all the hard work and time spent to prepare for the future, they forget to enjoy living in the present. What I mean by enjoying living in the present here does not necessarily mean that you play and have fun 24/7 but you must live your life, every moment worthily. Do everything with your whole heart. Gain satisfaction from your achievement. Be alive! You'll never know what will happen next.
